Credit Union SA were in the market for a fresh TV commercial and brand campaign. Unfortunately, that role was already taken, but as the agency’s in-house photographer at the time, I becameĀ the chosen one to hop on set and get some shmick stills.
Between takes it was my job to capture the moment to be used across social, web, and print in a way that was consistent with the look, feel, and grade of the film. (If you know, you know, usually grabbing a screenshot of the video doesn’t work very well)
Working alongside creatives and graphic designers, I was also tasked to go out and capture iconic South Australian things to be used in their graphic execution. Y’know, the kind of things you can’t really find on a stock imagery site. Picture a hills hoist, middle-class suburban house, Stobie pole (an SA invention), and more. Well, you don’t need to picture it, they’re in the third image.
